While Cassper Nyovest is grateful for all his opportunities, he feels that opening for international artists on home soil doesn't make him "bigger".

The rapper has been billed as the opening act for Travis Scott when he performs in the country for the first time on June 15/16  for the Castle Lite Unlocks concert.

Speaking ahead of the event on Extra Cold Round Table Cassper explained that opening for international artists didn't make him bigger, but could open other doors internationally.

"It will never make me a bigger artist. I've done 20 000 people with my friends. It will never make me bigger in my own country," he said.

Cassper said the opportunities that arise from opening for international stars is endless and could hopefully open doors abroad. Either way, SA music lovers enjoy international acts, said Cassper.
