Halala — Asavela Mqokiyana has a bun in the oven

Asavela Mqokiyana and her husband are expecting their first child. 

Taking to her Instagram timeline she shared their pregnancy photo shoot, revealing there is a bundle of joy on the way.

“To my husband, every step of this pregnancy has been easier because of how helpful and caring you are. I love you,” she wrote.

In a separate post she shared a clip of moments between her and her hubby while they were going for their doctor check- ups.

Asavela and her husband, who she has kept away from prying eyes, tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in April 2022.

The actress took to her Instagram to share images of her traditional wedding ceremony in the Eastern Cape.

“I officially became Mrs Mqokiyana. Emzini bathe ndingu kwande umdeni , uthando ne Mpilo,” she announced

To add to her celebratory chapter, they also have a new crib. 

Expressing her joy at finally being done with the house, Asavela penned a brief caption to accompany the snaps of her new home.

“Sengingasho kugcwale ngithi saze sawakha umuzi wethu. Sisebenzile myen wam [I can proudly tell the world that we’ve now built ourselves a home, We did a good job husband],” she wrote.

The season 15 Idols SA contestant excitedly announced the arrival of Owomusa Ziyana, sharing posts about her journey through pregnancy.

“I prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him. ‭So now I give her to the Lord. For her whole life she will be given over to the Lord. Baby Owomusa Ziyana (intsikelelo) Vusani,” she said.
