Musician Asanda Mkhize and former Ukhozi FM DJ Mngadi have collaborated on a new song, Izintaba Zothando, which has just been unveiled.
DJ Mngadi, real name Sihle Mngadi, is a well-established producer and artist known for his hit Uthando Lwami featuring AmaSiblings, which topped South African charts and became a social media sensation.
Asanda, a rising star from Underberg, KwaZulu-Natal, was recently discovered by the former Ukhozi FM DJ. “I first made waves in the music industry in 2019 with my breakout single Hugs and Kisses, which dominated the airwaves and earned high rotation on Metro FM, Gagasi FM and various other radio stations. Now, with my powerful vocals leading Izintaba Zothando, the track is expected to make an even greater impact both locally and internationally; this song is all about love’s power and resilience. We’ve combined the best elements of soulful house and dance to bring something truly special to our fans,” she said.
The soulful love anthem will be released on April 17, according to DJ Mngadi. “This soulful love song blends deep emotion with energetic dance elements, creating an unforgettable listening experience and promises to captivate audiences with its rich melodies, heartfelt lyrics and signature beats that define the modern Afro-house and soulful dance sound,” he said.
