The R28 in Randfontein on Johannesburg’s West Rand was closed to traffic on Wednesday morning due to a service delivery protest in the area. Police spokeswoman Captain Appel Ernst said community members in Mohlakeng had disrupted the flow of vehicles since the day before.“There has been a service delivery protest in the area since Tuesday‚" Ernst said.“They blocked the road with stones‚ tyres‚ rocks and everything they could find.
