Project Spider Web conspiracy claim baseless‚ says Treasury

National Treasury has dismissed as “baseless and vexatious” a document titled “Project Spider Web” alleging a conspiracy by the treasury to influence economic policy. The document‚ in the form of an “intelligence report” reportedly attempts to smear top officials of the treasury and paint them as apartheid agents.
