The Blue Bulls kept their Currie Cup semifinal hopes alive when they secured a bonus-point 57-20 victory over the Griquas at Loftus Versfeld on Friday night.

From the start the Pretoria side showed their dominance as they enjoyed most of the possession and territory on their way to a 24-13 lead at the half-time break.

The Bulls seem to have drawn some confidence from last week's win over the Pumas in Nelspruit which they followed up with an almost flawless performance which included some flair from even some of the most burly forwards in the blue jersey.

The Bulls' victory put to an end an impressive run from the Griquas which saw the Kimberley side forge their way to a four-match unbeaten run until Friday night.

The victorious home side scored a mammoth eight tries to the Griquas' two five-pointers.

The win lifted the Bulls up from third to second place on the log.
