After being scarce on social media and the small screen, reality TV star Ayanda Ncwane has launched her own YouTube channel The Light Has Come.

The first episode is now on her channel, and it deals with what she said was her near-death experience.

She shared a short-clip on Instagram announcing her new venture.

“Greetings my beloved ones ... it’s been a minute. Allow me take you along with [me] on this new journey of my life. Herewith is the teaser of the full video that is on my new YouTube channel, link in bio. #MyTestimony #TheLightHasCome. Thank you to my family @daniela_darocha_int for the beautiful furniture and decorating my now most important room in the house,” she wrote.

The announcement was accompanied by her testimony where she says she had a vision and God spoke to her after she was hospitalised after her travels.

Her mentions were filled with congratulatory messages.

“Absolutely beautiful mama, blessings upon blessings,” Nhlanhla Mafu wrote.

“Congratulations ... this is such a beautiful path you’ve taken,” Thembisa Mdoda wrote.

“There's a certain void that comes with not fulfilling an assignment of God, not a new car, not money, not qualifications and so on, nothing until you surrender. Grace to you woman of God, what a testimony,” Instagram user Keneilwe Marwane added.

Though she has been keeping a low profile, especially on the socials, as she says in the clip, she walked away with the Best Female TV Star of 2022 award.

Global African Awards rewarded her for her contribution to the entertainment and lifestyle industry.

The awards, which recognise and celebrate achievements in the African diaspora, shone the spotlight on Ayanda for her contribution to the arts over the years.

She announced the award on her Instagram timeline.

“Category is ... winning, To God be the glory. #WondersWithoutNumber thank you to @africachoiceawards . We came, we hosted, we won & we showed up in fabulosity. Ain’t God great?” she wrote.
